Third Draft of Opening sequence

Below is our Final Draft of our opening sequence.

I believe that our opening sequence is very good despite some pauses, but all in all we have come a long way since the start of the course and i think the girls in my group should be very proud because even though we had our differences we managed to come together to help each other when we need it the most.

Final stages

What we are trying to focus on right now id just getting everything together for our final draft, what is helping us do this is going over the feedback from the 2nd draft and just making sure we stick to it as best we can. This is something i believe will help us a lot because we need to work on things such as continuity and timing, making sure we get everything just right so that they are in sync with each other for our opening sequence to look the best it possibly can, so that we can achieve the best possible grade we can.

Things that we need to complete to help us with our task is;
  1. A new storyboard - just making sure that we have everything that we have changed on paper.
  2. Editing (music and titles)
  3. Planning for our evaluation questions
  4. Noting the process of our changes - so we know exactly where we are and what we are doing.

Feedback from Second Draft (during Half - Term)

Feedback that we got from Miss were things like;
  • Have a shot of Mica crossing her legs when she sits down with a til going up because this reinforces the convention of the femme fetale in a film noir.

  • Have an establishing shot of the diary (close-up).

  • Have a point of view shot of diary opening.

other things as well such as;

  • Make the deaths of the 3 men look like newspaper clipping.

  • When she opens the book show the time. (this will be 10 minutes to 4, as 4 will be the time the conversation between the femme fetale [Mica] and the investigator will take place).

  • Another change was that we should have the picture of the deaths in an envelope for the investigator also.

Below is the full structure of what the changes are.
